Dr. Ruhi Lal is a distinguished academician, researcher, advertising professional,
and author, currently serving as the Head of the Department and Professor of
Journalism & Mass Communication at the School of Media Studies & Humanities,
Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies.
With a D.Litt. from Vinoba Bhave University and a Ph.D. in Mass
Communication, Dr. Lal has made significant contributions to media education and
research. She has been recognized as the Best Media Educator of the Year (2021)
in Advertising Research by MFI, India, and has received the 5th Gyan Shree
National Award for promoting Hindi literature. Her dedication to social causes was
honored with the "Vishist Sewa Samman" from BJP Delhi for her work with
specially-abled individuals.
Dr. Lal brings 24 years of experience, blending 6 years in the industry with 18
years in teaching and research at MRIIRS and Amity University, Noida. She has
an impressive 171 research contributions, including 13 books, 4 patents, 74
research publications (Scopus, Web of Science, UGC Care, and peer-reviewed
journals), 30 case studies, and 45 research papers presented at conferences.
She has also led six funded research projects with organizations like MHRD,
MGNCRE, and DAVP.
